The stars aligned for us to collide at The Church of 8 Wheels in January of 2020. From that first silent dance that turned into two, and then three, there was an indescribable connection that left us both wanting to explore what could be. We parted that day with a simple exchange of names and a desire to see each other again. Not one to leave fate to chance, Michael tracked me down and we scheduled our first date: The San Francisco Movement Arts Festival at Grace Cathedral.

We could say the rest is history, but really, it was a series of choices that brought us closer and closer together. When the pandemic hit in March, it was of course challenging in many ways, but it also gave us the unique experience of getting to know each other one on one with no distractions while the world around us stopped. We bonded over our love of dance, photography, being in community, spending time in nature, and having meaningful conversations. When the world opened up again, we went on many adventures, attended festivals, and moved in together in 2022.

And, here we are! Gratefully in love, engaged, and so excited to celebrate the life we have and the one we are continuing to build together.
